When we purchased our Official Copenhagen Card, we knew we wanted to make the most out of it, so we started looking for opportunities to visit later in the evening. One opportunity that seemed intriguing to us was the Museum of Illusions, an Instagram-friendly, vision-altering group of experiences.
The Museum of Illusions has over 60 locations around the world, offering different location-specific visual experiences. We tried out the location in Copenhagen, not really knowing what to expect, but overall, it was a fun time playing around with photographs and visual effects.
Travel should be fun, and fun is the best adjective for the Museum of Illusions. During our visit, we did not have to worry about comprehending a historical site or appreciating a natural landscape. All we had to do was be silly and willing to take some photos. Never forget, as a traveler, that one of your favorite photos from a trip might not be in front of a famous site; it could just be a random shot taken at a random location, there solely for pure fun. Never forget to have fun when on the road.
