Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Very few cities have had the cultural and historical impact on the United States that Philadelphia has. From founder William Penn to favorite son Benjamin Franklin, to arguably the most fantastic culinary sandwich creation, and to some of the greatest underdog stories ever, Philadelphia continues to have a significant impact on American culture.

The Philadelphia Visitor Center celebrates this legacy by highlighting the incredible opportunities available in the city. People can pretend they are signing the Declaration of Independence, pose with the Phillie Phanatic or Rocky Balboa, or get tickets and tourist information about the city. Considering a major parking deck is beneath the visitor center, it provides tourists with access to many different locations in the city. The center is in sight of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, and a few blocks from other downtown sites. There are also refreshments, a gift shop, and restrooms.

We were only in Philly for the day, but the visitor center is an excellent introduction for first-time visitors. I’m glad we introduced Henry and Simon to the City of Brotherly Love.
